FAULT LINES: SPRING 2026
In 2059, where technology has ushered in an era of isolation, humanity faces another pandemic lockdown. Mia, a reclusive 30 year old, is forced by his mother to live with his estranged, uncompromising, grandfather, Joshua, as a temporary precaution during the lockdown. What begins as reluctant cohabitation turns into an unlikely discovery of kinship, until old wounds, buried blame, and the years of silence threaten to collapse what little connection exists.
Will this family finally bridge the distance between them, or will the Fault Lines that divide them prove too deep to cross?
The play explores
- Loneliness and connection in a hyper-digital world
- How families fracture, and how they find their way back
- What “care” and “presence” really mean when technology can mimic both
Fault Lines is less about “the future” and more about the emotional reality of right now, pushed a little further down the line.
Why This Story Matters
Fault Lines is a story seldom told today—one that’s more emotional than cerebral and leads with humanity over social commentary. It doesn’t try to lecture or solve the world; it asks you to sit in a living room with these characters and feel what they feel.
